Contest Winner!!
Congrats to.....Jackie!!
Hi! Brenda Woody and Steve Tindle here. Tonya has so graciously allowed us to take over her blog this week. And to return the favor; Tonya is on our blog this week. We swapped...get your mind out of the gutter....swapped blogs! LOL
To entice you to comment, we’ll get to the contest first. To
one lucky commenter, we’ll gift (winner’s choice) an eBook copy of Rainie’s Lake or Triangle of Secrets, Book One from Smashwords.
All you have to do is leave a comment and tell us where your favorite place is
to read: curled up on the sofa, on the back porch or perhaps in a coffee shop,
and what book you are currently reading. Great way to share books between each
other don’t you think? We’ll draw the winner on Saturday, June 2nd.
For those
of you meeting us for the first time, Steve and I went to high school together.
We shared homerooms, classes and were friends during those four years. After
graduation, we attended separate colleges and lost touch for 30 years. However,
we were in some of the same states or cities but at different times. We like to
think we were destined to be together. While searching on Myspace for
classmates, I found Steve and here we are four years later going strong as ‘A
couple who writes erotic romance’. Last November we moved back to our hometown.
We love living near a lake where it’s peaceful. A great place to write!
Now we’ll introduce you to a few of our books and invite you to our website to see the others we have available.
Rainie’s Lake
Taking a long over due vacation, Art
Instructor, Dylan Bishop is eager to start his trip to the cabin in the
mountains. When he saw the photo online with the rental ad, he knew this was
his destination. Being drawn to the lake nestled behind the cabin with a
private dock, Dylan hopes to regain his inspiration to paint.
His vacation takes an erotic turn
when he meets Rainie Marks on a foggy morning by the dock. She is the most
beautiful woman he has ever seen. However, there is sadness and a mystery about
her. Finding his inspiration, he sketches her one evening and unable to resist
the passion that has sparked between them, Rainie and Dylan share a sensual
night together.
When Rainie tells him the truth
about her past and the lake, the mystery she hides unfolds. The key to
everything is the lake. Will Dylan be able to help her put the past to rest?
Review by Ray Sostre, After Dark Online:
“One of the best
romance and mystery stories I ever read. Both Woody & Tindle made an
awesome story together, which was both erotic, romantic, and suspenseful.
(Spoiler omitted here)
Great job! I LOVE IT!”
Great job! I LOVE IT!”
Be sure to stop by on Wednesday, May 30th, for a
character interview with Dylan and Rainie.
Triangle
of Secrets, Book One, is the story of three ordinary people trying to make
their way in the corporate world and keeping their personal lives out of it. Morgan, the Vice President of a
prestigious company, dates her best friend and co-worker, Derek, to hide her secret affair with
Scott, the much younger mail clerk. Derek appears with Morgan socially to hide
the fact he is gay. He is afraid his lifestyle will hinder promotions. Scott wants out of the mail room and will do anything his lover asks of him. What happens when Derek
and Scott meet at Morgan’s house to fulfill her wildest fantasy? Will the
triangle break or will it be completed?
Review
by Carol Conley, I’m A Voracious Reader:
“I like the fact this was a short story and I felt almost
as if I was looking at a series of snapshots depicting a small segment of the
characters’ lives. Very little background was needed to understand the plot, it
was a smooth-flowing story, the characters formed easily in my head from their
descriptions and I loved the naughty scenes. Whew! HOT! I was a little worried
they might not survive the ménage because that’s a big step to take and if it
doesn’t work out an even bigger step to recover from. I was happy with the
ending and the hint of what is to come. I look forward to the next in the
series.”
Triangle of Secrets, Book One is the first installment of our ménage series. There will
be six books featuring different threesome relationships. Watch for TOS, Book
Two featuring Morgan, Vivian and Kirk to be released this fall
Best Lover in
Town revised and released with a new cover July 2011, is our first erotic
romance we wrote together. Temptation
Triggers is an erotic anthology of seven short stories that are passionate
and spellbinding. And last but not least, Black & White Affair, our
little short on erotic fantasy role-play.
We have several works in progress. Scarlett’s Cowboy, a contemporary erotic western due to be released
this year. On Friday, June 1st, we’ll share an excerpt!
We’ve mentioned our second installment of TOS, Bk 2 above
and we also have an erotic time travel in notes. No title yet but we’ll leave you with a teaser:
‘Layla Massri is ecstatic when she is asked to display and
maintain the Hellenistic Egyptian exhibit; her first event to oversee at the
Dallas Museum. The most appealing ancient artifact is Cleopatra’s beautiful
chaise lounge. Layla, being half-Egyptain herself, is drawn to lie upon the
chaise one night after the museum closes.’
An Egyptian fact: To Ancient Egyptians the soul was made up
of 5-parts: Ib (heart), Sheut (shadow), Ren (name), Ka (spirit), Ba (soul).
Readers, we hope you enjoyed reading about us, our work and
