Tonya, thank you so much for hosting such a great party for me! I hope everyone grabs a copy of Witch Devotion on Wednesday when it's released! I'm excited to share this one with all of you!

While I still have your attention, I wanted to talk with you a bit first about some of my writing.

Developing New Characters

I love writing sex. A show of hands please, who likes a good sex scene in the book you’re reading? Oh wow. Maybe I should of asked who doesn’t!
Writing sex in PNR compared to erotica is two different conquests (my word of the day hehe). With Erotica there are only the boundaries of the author (and/or publisher) set for how explicit and naughty I can be.
For instance, I won’t write rape scenes. Just can’t do it. I think sex is beautiful and something that should be consensual. However, tying up a character and blind folding them? I’m on it! Literally sometimes.
But what I love just as much?
I love developing a new character that is different from any other I have before and just so perfect for the scene that they are going to need another appearance in another book. Which is what I am doing with Sully (Sultras) from Demon Protection Plan (a novella in the anthology: The Sexiest Time of the Year: Erotic Encounters at the Yule Season). The story is from his POV and he is the main character in the new story From Demons, With Lust being published by Sizzler Editions.
On a side note, how awesome of a title is that? I fell in love when I came up with it. And it goes with the story so well because it is all about lust. We are talking about demons here and everything.
With all this said, I would love to show you an excerpt from my new novella and introduce a new character, Serena, who will be in the fourth book in The Last Witch Series, Demonic Charms (coming out 2013). This chick is going to give Faith a run for her money when it comes to Trent! I’ll tell you that much!

Excerpt: From Demons, With Lust (no release date yet)
“Don’t flatter yourself, like I said at the beginning, I was bored.” With a hand on the railing and the other on her drink, I felt her stare out of the corner of her eye. “So what is it?”
Chest heaving with the breath I took in I put my arms over the edge as I cupped my drink and leaned forward. “Do you know anything about bonds?”
     “Human or demon bonds?”
That was an intriguing thought. Kasidy was classified as both so it might not be down to a science when it came to her. “Let’s start with demons.”
With a lingering suspicion she puckered her lips before making a smacking sound with her tongue. “Because demons are normally born as demons, and not at some point a human, they are incapable of bonding for life the same way vampires and humans do. As demons we are not born with the ability or knowledge of love, the closest emotion being that of lust. However, we do have an innate talent for protecting that which we believe to be our property. Do you see where the difference lies?”
“People who fall in love to create that strong bond don’t see the one they love as property?”
“Bingo, baby.” She pointed her finger at me like a gun and winked at me.
I swirled the liquid around my ice filled glass. “What do you find more important to you, as a demon, power or a lust filled bond?”
Her tiny giggle made me shiver from the thoughts of passionate nights we had spent in each other’s beds. The way she ran her tits up and down my shaft was more than most men of any species could handle. “That is a good question. For me, it is all about the lust. That is only because I don’t care about power. As long as I am not a slave to someone I can handle taking some orders.”
“So you have proven more than once.” My beaming smile was met with the taste of sultry erotic pleasure seeping from her pores.
“Would your mind be on me or this chicky you have this bonding hoopla for?” While cocking a hip and placing her hand on her waist Serena took a sip of her drink.
I wasn’t positive why she would care and it bothered me that she asked. “How’s Trent doing?” I sucked on the side of my cheek before chugging the rest of my scotch. Trent being the vampire she had been infatuated with since the eighteen hundreds was a sore subject, but I couldn’t help throwing it in her face after the comment she made.
Gawking at me, she traced her tongue across the front of her teeth, hip still cocked. “In New York from what I hear. I don’t care.” Waving a hand she set her sights back to the ocean view.
I chuckled at her dismissive state that was an obvious ruse turned caper after the scheme wasn’t practical to use. “Why bother with power when lust is around the corner?” I took in the whole idea as we stood together in silence.
“Then again, you have always hated the idea of being ordered around. I can see why the thought of authority entices you more. But maybe you should take one thought into consideration.”

Tonya:  I got a sneak peek at this book and loved the characters, the sexual tension, and dialogue! tssss! Meet Bonni Sansom - Erotic Romance Author

Bonni Sansom
Erotic Romance

Welcome to our chat with Bonni! She keeps trying to convince me she's sane but I've been told those of us with so many voices in our head can't possibly be sane. Let's chat with her for a bit and you can make your own decision! Oh, don't forget to get into her contest at the end for a chance to win an e-copy of her book!

Tonya:  Readers love to know more about their authors. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Bonni:  I’m a mother first and foremost and my family comes before anything else. I have always loved writing. English was my favorite subject in school and I excelled there. I didn’t really give it a professional go until 2010. I went to the RT convention and met some really talented authors as well as some of my favorite authors. I came back home with a renewed sense of vigor and started writing my first book. Jack’s Christmas Wish was the first to be published, but I wrote Eternal Bliss first. And now I hope to write many more.

Tonya:  How exciting! One day I'll make it to a convention for writers. Do you have a day job?

Bonni:  I’m a stay home mom, so I have access to my computer 24/7. I write a lot during the day when my daughter and son are at school.

Tonya:  Some of us have things we do to get into the writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special you do to get into the writing mood?

Bonni:  I do not drink alcohol, so my thing is music. Daughtry and Nickelback are my favorites.

Tonya:  Where do you keep story ideas? Where do they come from?

Bonni:  Wow, that’s a tough one to answer. Most from my imagination, but some are things I see, like people watching at the mall. A picture or a video also sparks my imagination. Once it was a sentence my husband uttered. They come from all over. Art and stories are everywhere.

Tonya:  And with so many voices in our head throwing in their ideas, we have several sources! Are you a daytime writer, night time writer, and do you have to be alone to write?

Bonni:  I prefer to be alone when writing, but I have a 5 yr old that mommy’s me to death .

Tonya:  Enjoy them while they're young. They grow too fast. What advice would you give to new authors?

Bonni:  Only pursue it if you really have the passion for it. It takes more than a creative mind to survive the business. If you’re expecting to be the next #1 Bestseller on your first try, it will be a big letdown unless you get lucky like Stephenie Meyer. I wish you all well.

Tonya:  Do you write better when you first have an idea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add character looks?

Bonni:  I usually see my characters in my mind and then hear their voice. They are complete characters before I start writing. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t evolve, because they do.

Tonya:  What attracts you most about men?

Bonni:  Seriously??? Okay, I guess the first thing that draws me in is their eyes and smile, then their overall look. But, I’m not just interested in the body without the mind. He has to be strong, but gentle. Smart, but not Einstein. I don’t want to hear every fact about everything. LOL Kind and stern at the same time. I like’em with an air of authority, especially in the bedroom.

Tonya:  We’re dying to hear about your latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?

Bonni:  At the moment I’m working on about 6 books, but I am really concentrating on Chasing Bliss the sequel to Eternal Bliss. This is Jeff and Melanie’s story. (You’ll have to check out Eternal Bliss for more info.)

Tonya:  Readers love sequels! Where can our readers find you and your books?

Bonni:  I’m on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Sizzler Editions eBooks and Silver Publishing. You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter @morbonni and My Blog

Tonya:  Is there anything else you want to tell our readers?

Bonni:  Yes! Check out my books, they might surprise you. 18+ ONLY!!

Tonya:  Readers love to know more about us so let's move on to some fun questions. What is your favorite night time snack?

Bonni:  Cheesecake covered in chocolate. It’s a sin, I’m sure, but the temptation is too strong. I can’t help myself.

Tonya:  Do you like toppings on your ice cream?

Bonni:  No. Ice cream doesn’t need it in my opinion.

Tonya:  What’s your favorite meal - Italian, Mexican, Thai, etc?

Bonni:  Definitely Italian. I cook Italian all the time. Here's a little dessert for our readers!

Excerpt:  18+ ONLY!

He backed out of his driveway almost hitting the mailbox. Damn, he wanted her bad. “I’m already on my way, Lainey. I’ll be there before you know it.” He hung up and stepped on it. He’d break every damn traffic law getting to her.
He pulled into her driveway, and jogged to the door. He didn’t know what she had in store for him, but he couldn’t wait to find out. He twisted the handle, and entered the foyer. It was empty s he made his way back to her bedroom, and there she was on her bed wearing a black lace teddy that left nothing to the imagination. Her hair was fanned out over the pillow. She looked like she belonged on the cover of a magazine. His cock swelled behind his zipper instantly.
“Hi, sweetheart, you’re gorgeous. I wish I had a picture of you like this. He remembered his cell, and took it off his belt. He held it up and snapped a picture before she could protest.
“Now I have something to get me through till Monday.”
Laine frowned. “Yeah, about Monday, I was hoping we could spend time at your house.”
No tell her no. My entire house could fit in her kitchen. God, he didn’t want to do that, but if that’s what she wants, so be it.
“Okay, but I’ll have to get rid of my roommate.” Jeff wouldn’t be too happy about it. He’d want to share her, but Laine wasn’t someone he would share. Kyle would kill him if he touched her, best friend or not.
“Good enough. Now get over here and do with me what you will.”
That was all the invitation he needed. “Yes, ma’am. I hope you’re ready for some hard lovin’”
“I can see it’s hard already.” He approached the bed and Laine stroked the length of his erection through his jeans.
“Dammit woman, I can’t believe what you do to me.”
“As long as you like what I do to you, we’ll get along just fine.”
His dick was painfully hard, getting zipper tracks on the underside as they spoke.
“I love what you do to me, and what you’re going to do for me right now.”
She looked into his ice blue eyes. “And what is it I’m going to do?”
He gave her a devilish smile. “You’re going to undo my pants and use that pretty little mouth of yours to pleasure me.”
She smiled back at him. “Yes, sir.”
“I like it when you call me sir. Keep that up.”
She sat up and reached for his belt. He hissed through his teeth when her delicate fingers grazed the tip of his cock. She fumbled with the button, making him want to help her, but he refrained, enduring this exquisite torture. Finally she pulled down the zipper releasing him from his denim confines. She caught him with her hand, staring at the bulbous head, licking her lips.
“Damn baby, I might not last long in that gorgeous little mouth of yours.”
Her pink tongue darted out licking the tiny bead of pre-come from the slit. He swore under his breath, feeling her velvety tongue licking him, loving his cock. He had no idea she would be so enthusiastic.
She took the head into her mouth, sucking his soul out through his dick.
He groaned. “Yeah, baby, that’s it, suck me.” Damn, he was in love with her. He knew in his soul he could never find a better fit for him than Laine. He just hoped he’d be able to convince her of the same thing. They were a perfect match.
The sound of wet slurping filled the room. He watched her head bobbing back and forth, her cheeks hollowing on the upstroke, and puff out on the down stroke. His fingers stabbed through her hair, grabbing a handful and pulling her mouth off of him before he exploded.
She looked confused. “I don’t want to come in your mouth Lainey. I want to come in your tight little pussy.”
He toed off his boots, and slipped out of his pants that were around his ankles. He slipped his t-shirt over his head, and tossed it carelessly to the floor.
He crawled onto the bed next to her, and kissed her senseless, their tongues licking and exploring each other’s mouths. He could taste his salty wild taste on her tongue. They were both breathless when they came up for air. His large palm caressed her breast making her nipple pucker. She moaned with delight.
He took her nipple in hand rolling it between his fingers, getting a small squeak of pleasure. Her eyes were closed, but he wanted her to watch him.
“Lainey, open your eyes and watch me.” She opened her heavy lidded eyes, and looked down to her nipple. He dipped his head nipping it through the lacey material then soothing it with his tongue.
“Mmm, oh that feels so good, please don’t stop, sir.”
He palmed her pussy feeling her slick arousal through the material. “You’re so wet baby. I think we’re ready to get this thing off of you. You’re a bit over dressed for my taste.”
He pulled the strap off of her shoulder exposing one pert breast. Her perfect pink nipple was already taut, and ready. She slipped the other strap off her shoulder pushed the teddy down lifted her butt, and pushed it off.
        “I’m ready for you, sir.”
His cock twitched at sir. He snagged a condom from his pants pocket, ripped it open with his teeth and rolled it on. He didn’t want to wait one more second to be in her wet heat. He situated himself between her legs, fitted himself to her hole, and pushed in balls deep. They both hissed through their teeth. She closed her eyes again.
“Lainey keep your eyes on me. Let me see those grass green eyes.”
        She immediately complied.
“Good girl.” His strokes were uneven and halting. He was on the verge of coming, but had to hang on. He paused. “Look down and see how we fit together. We’re a perfect match baby.”
She propped herself up on her elbows looking down at where they were connected.
He was happy for the moment to gain his control. He watched her face flush as she saw him stretching her open wide

Meet Eden Baylee - Erotic Romance Author

Eden Baylee
Erotic Romance

Thank you for stopping in to meet Eden, this week's guest author. Eden Baylee writes literary erotica and erotic romance. Her stories are both sensual and sexual, incorporating some of her favorite things such as travel, culture, and a deep curiosity for what turns people on. Spring into Summer is her second collection of erotic novellas. She's giving away a copy of each books so be sure to get into the contest at the bottom!

Tonya:  Eden, thank you for hanging out all week with us! Readers love to know more about their authors. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Eden:  Hi Tonya, and thanks so much for having me here on your great site.
I’m a Canadian author who writes literary erotica and erotic romance. I also maintain an active blog and social media presence.

Tonya:  Her sites are HOT so be sure to click over and check her out! Do you have a day job?

Eden:  Not any more (heh). I left my career as a banker after twenty years to pursue writing full-time. That was January 2010. I feel very fortunate to be able to finally do what I love.

Tonya:  Some of us have things we do to get into the writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special you do to get into the writing mood?

Eden:  Not really, only because I consider writing as my job, so I just do it. I tackle it as a pleasurable obligation. If I feel mentally tired, I’ll walk away from my keyboard, do some housework, or get some fresh air, but then I get back to writing immediately.

Tonya:  Where do you keep story ideas? Where do they come from?

Eden:  Ideas can come from anywhere. Living life is the best inspiration, really. That means keeping an open mind to explore new things, meet new people, and I’m pretty fearless, so ideas have a way of finding me.

Tonya:  If you’re self-published, can you tell us a bit about that and how it’s going for you?

Eden:  I am self-published. Having complete control of my books from beginning to end works for me because I’m so anal. I love that I’m more or less fully responsible for the final outcome of my book – from the writing to the design to the marketing. If I fail, it’s all on me. If I succeed, I’m taking full credit.

Tonya:  Self-pubbing is the best way to go for those of us who like to control our own destinies! Are you a daytime writer, nighttime writer, and do you have to be alone to write?

Eden:  I write throughout the day and night. I don’t seem to sleep very much, so I’m up early and stay up late. I don’t need to be alone to write, but I usually am.

Tonya:  We all love to help out other newbie authors. What advice would you give to them?

Eden:  I suppose it depends on where the author is in his/her process. There is a lot to learn, so I’ll just list three main points.
First and foremost—write the book. Without this, you have nothing to offer readers, unless you are just writing for your own pleasure.
Secondly, learn about social media and develop meaningful relationships with other authors, bloggers, and readers. Be sincere on all social media networks. It’s not only about selling books.
Lastly, be thankful and gracious. I’ve connected with fantastic people from all walks of life since I started writing. It’s always good to give something back if you can.

Tonya:  Great adice! Readers, I do have a few links on my site for newbies and will ad more for you later. Do you write better when you first have an idea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add character looks?

Eden:  I always start with an intriguing idea before anything else. I’m a pantser, so I don’t plot out storylines – I just write. As for how characters look, that gets added much later and not with any great detail to their physical appearance either. I prefer to engage the reader’s imagination by not filling in all the blanks.

Tonya:  What attracts you most about men?

Eden:  Intelligence, and I don’t mean the ‘book-smart’ kind. I like original thinkers. A man who can engage my brain engages me—period.

Tonya:  We’re dying to hear about your latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?

Eden:  Ha! Spring into Summer is an anthology of four unique stories. The book is the companion piece to my first anthology called Fall into Winter. Both contain stories that take place during specific seasons. The novellas are great character-driven plots of varying heat. I’ve provided a blurb with more details of each story.

Blurb for Spring Into Summer:

In Spring into Summer, a collection of emotionally-charged erotic novellas, four women explore their sexual limits, marked by love, lust, and loss.

Life for Claire Pelletier is changed forever when she meets a professor who teaches her a most important lesson in "A Season for Everything."

Evelyn Sutton goes in search of a man in "Unlocking the Mystery" and discovers the key to her own heart.

With an open mind, Ava Connors attends a party but wonders if reality can ever live up to her hottest fantasies in "Summer Solstice."
In "The Lottery," Sierra Zhao sacrifices herself to numerous men to help a friend, fully aware of the consequences.
With locations in London, Dublin, Cape Cod, and Bangkok, these four women will seek pleasure to alter their lives and push their sexual boundaries.

Tonya:  Where can our readers find you and your books?

Eden:  Connect to my website to get all the links but listed below are my main links. Spring into Summer is exclusive with Amazon for the time being. Fall into Winter is available everywhere.

Tonya:  Our readers like to learn little things about us. What’s your favorite meal - Italian, Mexican, Thai, etc?

Eden:  East Indian is my favorite closely followed by Thai.

Tonya:  Thai has to be my all-time favorite, too! Do you like toppings on your ice cream?

Eden: Absolutely not. I’m very picky about ice cream. I don’t like anything crunchy in it. Small pieces of fruit are fine, but I don’t like chocolate chips, candy, or anything I have to chew.

Tonya:  What is your favorite nighttime snack?

Eden:  Red wine, though that’s probably not a snack, is it? Thanks so much Tonya for having me here. Your wonderful support for authors is truly fabulous. If readers leave a comment telling me their favorite season for romance, they can win a copy of one of my books.

CONTEST:  TWO copies of my e-book. One of Spring into Summer and one of Fall into Winter. Leave a comment telling Eden your favorite season for romance, then get into the RaffleCopter so you can be entered!
