Sandi knew she enjoyed making love with men, but too often got burned by them in life when they turned on her...or away from her. Her only exception to those men was her photographer, Daniel, and she ended that before she got hurt again. Daniel understood her 'why', but deep down, he continues to hope he can change her mind. Through her modeling, Sandi got close to many women and those relationships never treated her like a man's relationship had. Women treated each other differently and cared more about loving when things got real. And the hell with what public attitude was about lesbians and gays. She just wanted to be happy for a change.
Her roommate for the past year continually got treated bad by one boyfriend after another and Sandi found that, in the end, Kiera always came to her for comfort. This last time, she hoped she would be able to convince Kiera that she didn't have to accept being treated like a doormat, nor be some guy's punching bag. Sandi's heart ached to make her understand that a new relationship with a woman would be like no other she'd ever been in.
