Tonya: Cassandre, I'm so excited that I get to spend the week with you! Readers love to know more about their authors.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
Cassandre: Well I’m a very romantic and wildly
passionate woman who loves animals generally more than people. I am also a
musician and love to cater events. I used to own a catering company so I can um
“cook something up” in the kitchen. All things wicked of course.
Tonya: That's a busy schedule. Do you have a day job?
Cassandre: I do...I manage community associations...or
those neighborhoods that are designed with governing documents. I hold the PCAM
designation (Professional Community Association Manager) – one of only 1600 in
the country. In other words, I am a professional babysitter for very large
children.
Tonya: Wow! Now THAT is busy! But that's what keeps us busy authors going! Some of us have things we do to get into the
writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special you
do to get into the writing mood?
Cassandre: I stay pretty much in the writing frame of
mind to be honest with you. Now kinky little pictures do get me MORE in the
mood. And I can create a sexy story out of anything. Try me…
Tonya: Ah, I have to admit to loving those kinky pics! Where do you keep story ideas? Where do they
come from?
Cassandre: They just come to me. Seriously – I can
take an object to a career, a thought to a picture and have a kinky story come
to mind – or a murder mystery.
Tonya: If you’re self-published, can you tell us a bit
about that and how it’s going for you?
Cassandre: I do have four pieces that are self pubbed
– one as me and two anthologies. I have enjoyed the experience so far. Amazon
for all its bull has been very good on the publishing end to work with. About
ready to put On Becoming His on ARe etc.
Tonya: Are you a daytime writer, night time writer,
and do you have to be alone to write?
Cassandre: I can write during a hurricane, and have, so
I do not need to be alone. I can and do write at all times but I need music
most of the time – wild and wicked music.
Tonya: What advice would you give to new authors?
Cassandre: Write every day – even two hundred words.
Get yourself up and running with Facebook, a blog, a fan page and twitter from
the get go – even though you’re not published. That will save time and angst
when you are. And – most importantly – do NOT fall into the diva mode when you
do get published. Be a team player.
Tonya: Great advice. Do you write better when you first have an idea
of what your characters look like or do you write, then add character looks?
Cassandre: I have an idea for a book almost always
first and then the story runs away with itself. Now I do have particular types
of characters I enjoy writing about and the hunky and very dangerous men do
drive the story.
Tonya: What attracts you most about men?
Cassandre: The better question is what doesn’t? I
enjoy men who are comfortable in their own skin. You can see it and even smell
it. They have an incredible scent that follows them and I am wildly attracted.
In addition I love eyes – they are truly the window to a man’s soul. All the
other goodies – secondary.
Tonya: We’re dying to hear about your latest book.
What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?
Cassandre: Girlfriend I have several. I’ll pick one
that is kinda new for me. I just finished my first DD piece – Domestic
Discipline. And it’s being published in April. I am curious and excited to see
how it does. It’s a love story about a couple and they are headed for divorce.
A chance encounter with a friend allows a glimpse into a DD lifestyle. The
couple has to decided, just how far will they go to save their marriage. While
this is very erotic, it’s also emotional for both the man and the woman and
similar in angst as On Becoming His.
Tonya: Where can our readers find you and your books?
Cassandre: All the major hot spots including Amazon, B

Tonya: Is there anything else you want to tell our
readers?
Cassandre: I am often asked if I’m as kinky as my
characters. If I told you that I’d have to kill you.
Tonya: What is your favorite night time snack?
Cassandre: Men
Tonya: LOL Love it! Do you like toppings on your ice cream?
Cassandre: Mmm – I like my ice cream like I prefer my
men, without any need for adornment.
Tonya: What’s your favorite meal - Italian, Mexican,
Thai, etc?
Cassandre: Mmm – Anything spicy
Tonya: What kinds of books do you write?
Cassandre: My books are highly erotic and there is
little I don’t touch on from same sex, ménage, group sex, BDSM, D/s, DD, Kink
Clubs, paranormal, futuristic, cowboy, and erotic horror. The only thing I
won’t write is historical. I would suck at it.
